Young Professionals Council
UMOM’s Young Professionals Council is an active group of community leaders between the ages of 21 and 39. The goal of the YPC is to engage and inspire the next generation of UMOM supporters.
As a YPC member, you’ll attend monthly meetings, commit to a two-year term and make a modest financial contribution. You’ll also interact with UMOM residents through a variety of volunteer service activities, support UMOM’s major fundraising efforts and coordinate fun fundraising activities that speak to a younger generation.
Sounds like something you’d love to be involved in? Then please take a minute now to answer a few short questions and we’ll get back to you with more information.
“I don’t think some people understand the vicious cycle involved with homelessness. When you are homeless with no money, no education, no business apparel, no transportation, and no childcare, it is hard to just go out and “get a job.” Providing resources, and using innovative strategies to end homelessness is how we need to succeed.”
Jason D. Maynes, Chair of UMOM’s Young Professional Council.
